“F” like FREEDOM
– Freedom to live
– Freedom to think
– Freedom to choose
1. Freedom to live
The idea of what life is, as we know it, has been changing. Now that science acknowledges the illusion of the material world – more and more scientists are reaching for some ancient philosophical teachings to find inspiration for their theories and research, while seeking the deeper meaning of the world and our existence.
It used to be that the old-school science separated the two worlds – material and spiritual – for scientific purposes. What followed was a huge scientific mistake that we have allowed to continue for too long. Our entire planet has suffered the consequences of that scientific mistake: humans, animals and nature. The damaged planet will take a long time to recover from it. Whether people will see their planet healthy and happy again still remains a question.
Think of all the pain and suffering in the world: it is mostly due to the materialistic view of life. Many people who are blinded by their inner fears, greed or anger strive for authority, power, status and financial means.
While they seek security in life by acquiring material things, they never reach the state of happiness, no matter how much they succeed and acquire. Being controlled by their subconscious Shadows, they either sabotage their own life, or they don’t respect the lives of others. (See “Shadows In Our Subconscious: Individual & Collective – And What We Can Do About Them.”)
We have the privilege to evolve. Our Freedom to live is our birth-given right.
Please note that your own view of when our life begins – is fully respected. You have the right to your own beliefs, and no one can take that right from you.
Most of us don’t think about the Freedom to live on a daily basis, or don’t think about it at all. It is a sign of humans being misled into believing that we are somehow superior to other species, to nature, and the planet itself. That we have everything under control, and that the material world is here to serve and please us in any way we want. While in truth, we are part of this world, just like anything and anybody else.
Let yourself feel the beauty of your life while you take your next precious breath and think your next thought.
Life is beautiful. Life is precious. You have Freedom to live.
2. Freedom to think
Our Mind understands the unknown through the prism of the known.
“The perception of the present you, is determined by your memories and by your expectations. (…)It is a concept of yourself you hold, and it’s based on how you want to remember yourself, and how you expect yourself to be in the future.”
(…)“Always watch your intentions, in the ‘here and now’. Learn and appreciate yourself as a human being. Each of you is very powerful. All you need to evoke your power, is to remember that you already have it, and use it with Love.” – From the book “Master and the Green-Eyed Hope”, by Johanna Kern
As you evolve in your life, you gain the power to overrule your thoughts, behavior and reactions deriving from your past painful experiences and wounds. You gain the power to think, be and react from the place of true Freedom, joy and satisfaction.
You can make conscious choices about your life – instead of functioning on “automatic pilot” and being driven by your subconscious programming.
You are progressing, and learning what you need to learn about yourself.
You have the right to think what you want to think. You have the right to believe what you want to believe.
Everyone’s Freedom to think begins with respect:
When you respect yourself – others respect your Freedom to think.
When you respect other’s Freedom to think – you respect your own Freedom of thought.
As long as you are not thoughtlessly causing any harm to anyone – your thoughts are your own business. No one has the right to force you to think or believe anything.
3. Freedom to choose
You are here to have a beautiful experience of yourself, so that you can grow to the fullest possible potential in this lifetime.
You are here to enjoy the experience of your life.
You have the right to live the life you want and change what is no longer benefiting you or those you care about.
Your thoughts are the most powerful actions of all.
Purpose may mean different things for different people. For some, their career gets priority in their life, for others it will be family values or spirituality, yet others find social change or helping others most important. Whatever makes you “tick” on a deeper level – may be worth exploring. Look inside your Heart and see what it tells you.
* In the Master Teachings of HOPE, we use the word “Heart” to describe the core of our essence, our “pure inner person”. The part of us where we hold our own, beautiful truth, free of any conditioning and fears.
You have Freedom to choose whatever you want.
Whatever is most important to you, whatever you find most valuable in your life – you can find ways to contribute to it.
Choose what’s most important for you and respect other people’s choices. Each of us has the right to choose what we believe in. Each of us is equally important, and all of our choices are equally important – as long as we don’t cause any harm to others, or the world we live in.
Your Freedom to choose is your birth-given-right – and it begins with your Freedom to live, and your Freedom to think.
“My satisfaction in life comes from the realization that I can be free despite any limitations. I know that I can learn how to overcome any obstacles. I know that I can make my own choices. I can do more than I can imagine, and I can become all that I want to be. Ultimately, the creation of my life experience is only up to me.” – From the award-winning book “365 (+1) Affirmations to Create a Great Life”, by Johanna Kern.
